Specimen Required:Collect: Serum Separator Tube (SST).
Specimen Preparation: Allow blood samples to clot (15 mins). Separate the serum from the cells by centrifuging for 10 minutes. Store serum at 2-8°C until analysis.
Storage/Transport Temperature: Refrigerated.
Stability: Store samples stoppered at all times at 2° to 8°C up to 7 days. Freeze samples, devoid of red blood cells, at or below -20°C for longer storage. Do not store in a frost-free freezer.
