| Specimen Required: | Collect: Serum Separator Tube (SST) – 0.5 ml serum. Specimen Preparation: Allow blood samples to clot (15 mins). Separate the serum from the cells by centrifuging for 10 minutes. Store serum at 2-8°C until analysis. Storage/Transport Temperature: Refrigerated. Stability: Test samples as soon as possible after collecting. Store samples Refrigerated at 2° to 8°C if not tested within 12 hours of collection. Store primary tube samples Refrigerated at 2° to 8°C up to 24 hours.
