Specimen Required: | Collect: 2 Light blue (sodium citrate) for Lupus Anticoagulant Reflexive Panel and D-Dimer AND Serum Separator Tube (SST) for Cardiolipin ABs and Homocysteine. Specimen Preparation: Allow specimen to clot completely at room temperature. Separate serum from cells ASAP or within 2 hours of collection. Transfer two 2 mL platelet-poor plasma to individual Standard Transfer Tubes. Storage/Transport Temperature: For Lupus Anticoagulant Reflexive Panel (Plasma): CRITICAL FROZEN. For Cardiolipin Antibodies, Homocysteine (Serum): Refrigerated.
