Specimen Required: | Collect: CSF, Drain, Pancreatic, Pericardial, Peritoneal/Ascites or Pleural fluid 1.0 ml fluid. Specimen Preparation: Centrifuge to remove cellular material. Transfer body fluid to a Standard Transport Tube. Storage/Transport Temperature: Refrigerated. Unacceptable Conditions: Specimen types other than those listed. Specimens too viscous to be aspirated by instrument. Remarks: Specimen source must be provided.
