Specimen Required:Patient Preparation: None required.  
Collect: Random Urine OR 24 hrs. urine – 5 ml urine 
Specimen Preparation: Follow all precaution for handling biological material. Use all appropriate Persona Protective Equipment (PPE). Urine specimen should be collected into a clean, leak-proof sterile container.
Remark: Use of urine samples contaminated byhemoglobin will result in falsely elevated values.
Storage/Transport Temperature: Refrigerated.
Stability: Refrigerated: 48 hrs.
Rejection Criteria: Any sample that is mislabeled; Any broken or damaged containers.
