Specimen Required:Patient Preparation: No fasting is required. 
Collect: Random Urine – 5 ml urine 
Specimen Preparation: Transfer urine to in Standard Sterile Container. 
Storage/Transport Temperature: Refrigerated.
Stability: Ambient: Unacceptable; Refrigerated: 7 days.
IMPORTANT: Do not store samples at – 18 /- 30°C. Thawed or improperly stored samples may show modified or additional fractions due to protein degradation.
NOTE: Urine samplesshould not be stored at room temperature.
Specimen Rejection Criteria: Specimen received with mismatched or no patient identifiers. Specimen received outside of stability requirements.
