Specimen Required:Patient Preparation: None required. 
Collect: Serum Separator Tube (SST),   Lavender (EDTA),  Urine in a Sterile Container,  Thin Prep Pap Test collection kit. 
Specimen Preparation: Collect sample observing universal precautions for venipuncture. Use all appropriate Persona lProtective Equipment (PPE). Allow blood samples (SST) to clot (15 mins). Separatethe serum from the cells by centrifuging for 10 minutes.  
Storage/Transport Temperature:  Refrigerated.
Stability: Serum Separator Tube (SST) After separation from cells: Refrigerated at 2-8 °C: 7 days. Lavender (EDTA): Refrigerated: 7 days. Urine: Refrigerated: 24 hours.    Thin Prep Pap Test collection kit: Room Temperature: 1 month.
Rejection Criteria: Sample that is mislabeled; Sample without a test request; Broken or damaged tubes; transfer tube.
