Specimen Required:Collect: Lavender (EDTA) full tube of whole blood OR 2 glass microscope slide-peripheral smears. 
Specimen Preparation: Invert tube 8 to 10 times immediately after tube is filled at the time of collection. Do not freeze.  
REMARK: TEST MUST BE ORDERED WITH CBC (Complete blood count) TEST. 
Storage/Transport Temperature: Refrigerated
