Collect: Random Urine OR a 24 hour urine.
Follow all precaution for handling biological material. Use all appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Urine specimens should be collected into a clean and leak-proof Urine Sterile Container.
Storage/Transport Temperature: Refrigerated.
Stability: Urine: Stable for 7 days when stored refrigerated (2-8°C). Stable for up to year when stored frozen at -20°C.  
Rejection Criteria: Any sample that is mislabeled, Any sample without a test request, Any broken or damaged containers.
