| Specimen Required: | Patient Preparation: None required Collect: Serum Separator Tube (SST). Specimen Preparation: All human Serum Samples are considered to be potentially infective and are to be treated as such. Follow all precaution for handling biological material. Use all appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Allow serum tube to clot completely at room temperature. Separate serum or plasma from cells within 2 hours of collection. Storage/Transport Temperature: Refrigerated.
