Specimen Required:Collect: Plain Red OR Serum Separator Tube (SST) – 1 ml serum.

Specimen Preparation: Separate from cells ASAP or within 2 hours of collection.  Transfer 1 mL serum (RED) to a sterile Standard Transport Tube 
Storage/Transport Temperature: Refrigerated. 
Unacceptable Conditions: Plasma. 
Stability: Ambient: 1 hour; Refrigerated: 1 week; Frozen: 1 week
