Specimen Required:Patient Preparation: Patients taking calcineurin inhibitors should stop their medication for 72 hours prior to draw. Patients taking prednisone should be off their medication for 2 weeks prior to draw 
Collect: Serum Separator Tube (SST). 
Specimen Preparation: Allow specimen to clot completely at room temperature . Separate serum from cells ASAP or within 2 hours of collection. 
Storage/Transport Temperature: Room Temperature. 
Stability: After separation of cells: Room Temperature: 1 week, Frozen: 1 month
