Specimen Required:Patient Preparation: Non-fasting accepted 
Collect:  Serum Separator Tube (SST)  – 0.5 ml serum. 
Specimen Preparation: Allow specimen to clot completely at room temperature. Separate serum from cells ASAP or within 2 hours of collection.
Storage/Transport Temperature: Refrigerated.
Stability: After separation of cells: Refrigerated: 1 week: Frozen: 2 weeks
Reject Creteria: Mislabeled; broken or damaged tubes, the sample w/o test request, Grossly Hemolyzed or Lipemicsamples.
