Methodology:Quantitative ImmunoCAP Fluorescent Enzyme Immunoassay

Specimen Required:Collect: Serum Separator Tube (SST) – 0.5 ml serum. 
Specimen Preparation:  Follow all precaution for handling biological material. Use all appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Allow specimen to clot (15 min.) completely at room temperature. Separate serum from cells by centrifuging for 10 min.   
Storage/Transport Temperature: Refrigerated.
Stability:  After separation from cells: Ambient: 48 hours; Refrigerated: 2 weeks; Frozen: 1 year
At ACCU: Refrigerated: 1 week; Frozen: 2 seeks. 
Unacceptable Conditions:  Mislabeled; broken or damaged tubes, the sample w/o test request.
