Collect: Serum Separator Tube (SST) or Plain Red – 0.5 ml serum. 
Specimen Preparation: Allow specimen to clot (15 min.) completely at room temperature. Separate serum from cells by centrifuging for 10 min.
Storage/Transport Temperature: Refrigerated.
Unacceptable Conditions: Grossly hemolyzed or lipemic specimens.
